Contents of the training

During your training as a professional driver (m/f/d), we will make you fit for the road.
You will not only learn how to drive the really big trucks, but also everything that will make you a real professional when it comes to vehicles, loading and handling.
First, you will be familiarized with the basics and learn how your vehicle works, from the engine and chassis to the electrical and mechanical systems.
Inspection, maintenance and care play a major role here so that you and other road users are always safe on the road.
Road traffic regulations and load securing are just as important.
Precisely because you won’t be driving shoeboxes around with us, but transporting up to 40-meter-long precast concrete parts to construction sites, we will show you exactly what you need to bear in mind when loading and unloading.
Your training will also cover billing, route planning and trip documentation.
You will also sit in the office for a short time and receive an explanation of transport logistics from our fleet employees.

At the end, you will have your B, C and CE driving licenses in your pocket and will be able to easily drive heavy goods vehicles weighing up to 120 tons and 50 meters in length.
Most of your journeys are regional, so you’ll be back home after work.
In some cases, however, you will also be driving across Germany and Europe.

Duration and procedure

It takes 3 years to become a fully qualified professional driver (m/f/d).
The training is dual, which means that in addition to your time with us, you will also attend vocational school.

Your intermediate examination takes place before the end of the second year of training and tests what you have learned in the first 18 months of your training.
At the end of the third year of training, you will then take the actual final examination consisting of five practical and one written exam.
