The following personal data is processed as part of the application process:
- Your personal Data (first name, surname, date of birth)
- Contact details (address, telephone/mobile number, e-mail address)

iV. Where does the personal data come from?
Data is collected directly from you as part of the application process on the basis of the application documents sent by you or information you provide in an interview. If the job is placed by an agency, we may also receive data from third parties. Under certain circumstances, we may also process personal data that we have legitimately received from publicly accessible sources (e.g. professional networks).
V. For what purposes is your data processed?
Your personal data will only be processed for the purpose of establishing an employment relationship.
In addition, we are required by the European anti-terrorism regulations 2580/2001 and 881/2002 to check your data against so-called ‘EU terror lists’, if necessary, to ensure that no funds or other economic resources are made available for terrorist purposes.
vI. What is the legal basis for processing your data?
The legal basis for processing your personal data is primarily the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), in particular Art. 88(1) GDPR in conjunction with Section 26(1) BDSG. In addition, it may be necessary to process your health data to assess your ability to work in accordance with Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR in conjunction with Section 22(1)(b) BDSG.
VII. how long will your data be stored?
If your application is rejected, your documents will be deleted no later than six months after the application process is completed. If we have your consent to store your data for longer, it will be deleted after 12 months.
If an employment relationship is established, your data will be transferred to your personnel file and deleted after the employment relationship has ended. Data that we are legally obliged to retain or data on the basis of which claims can be asserted against us (statutory limitation period of three or up to thirty years) are excluded from this regulation.
VIII. Who receives your data?
Your personal data will only be forwarded to internal departments involved in the recruitment process. These can include management, the HR department, department heads, the works council or, if prescribed, the representative body for severely disabled employees. If you indicate that you have a severe disability and do not expressly refuse to involve the representative body for severely disabled employees, we are obliged to inform the representative body for severely disabled employees immediately after receiving your application in accordance with Section 164(1)(4) SGB IX.
IX. Will your data be transferred to a third country?
There are no plans to transfer your data to a third country.
X. What rights do you have as a data subject?
Right of access: In accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to obtain confirmation from the controller as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed.
- □ Right to rectification: In accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, you have the right to obtain from the controller without undue delay the rectification or completion of inaccurate or incomplete personal data concerning you.
□ Right to erasure: In accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, you have the right to obtain from the controller the erasure of personal data concerning you without undue delay where one of the grounds specified in Art. 17 GDPR applies.
□ Right to restriction of processing: In accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, you have the right to obtain from the controller restriction of processing of personal data concerning you where one of the conditions set out in Art. 18 GDPR applies.
□ Right to data portability: In accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to request the controller to transfer personal data concerning you, provided that the conditions set out in Art. 20 GDPR are met.
□ Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: In accordance with Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR. This right can be exercised in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. □ Right to object: In accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning you at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. The controller will then no longer process the personal data unless the controller demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Hinweise auf die Rechte der Betroffenen
Die betroffene Person hat das Recht, von dem Verantwortlichen eine Bestätigung darüber zu verlangen, ob sie betreffende personenbezogene Daten verarbeitet werden; ist dies der Fall, so hat sie ein Recht auf Auskunft über diese personenbezogenen Daten und auf die in Art. 15 DS-GVO (Datenschutz-Grundverordnung) im Einzelnen aufgeführten Informationen.
Die betroffene Person hat das Recht, von dem Verantwortlichen unverzüglich die Berichtigung sie betreffender unrichtiger personenbezogener Daten und ggf. die Vervollständigung unvollständiger personenbezogener Daten zu verlangen (Art. 16 DS-GVO).
Die betroffene Person hat das Recht, von dem Verantwortlichen zu verlangen, dass sie betreffende personenbezogene Daten unverzüglich gelöscht werden, sofern einer der in Art. 17 DS-GVO im Einzelnen aufgeführten Gründe zutrifft, z. B. wenn die Daten für die verfolgten Zwecke nicht mehr benötigt werden (Recht auf Löschung).
Die betroffene Person hat das Recht, von dem Verantwortlichen die Einschränkung der Verarbeitung zu verlangen, wenn eine der in Art. 18 DS-GVO aufgeführten Voraussetzungen gegeben ist, z. B. wenn die betroffene Person Widerspruch gegen die Verarbeitung eingelegt hat, für die Dauer der Prüfung durch den Verantwortlichen.
Jede betroffene Person hat unbeschadet eines anderweitigen verwaltungsrechtlichen oder gerichtlichen Rechtsbehelfs das Recht auf Beschwerde bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde, wenn die betroffene Person der Ansicht ist, dass die Verarbeitung der sie betreffenden personenbezogenen Daten gegen die DS-GVO verstößt (Art. 77 DS-GVO). Die betroffene Person kann dieses Recht bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde in dem Mitgliedstaat ihres Aufenthaltsorts, ihres Arbeitsplatzes oder des Orts des mutmaßlichen Verstoßes geltend machen. Die betroffene Person hat uns gegenüber unter den Voraussetzungen des Art. 20 DS-GVO ein Recht auf Datenübertragbarkeit. Daten die wir auf Grundlage Ihrer Einwilligung oder in Erfüllung eines Vertrages automatisiert bearbeiten, an sich oder an einen Dritten in einem gängigen, maschinenlesbaren Format aushändigen zu lassen. Sofern Sie die direkte Übertragung der Daten an einen anderen Verantwortlichen verlangen, erfolgt dies nur, soweit es technisch machbar ist.
INFORMATIONEN ÜBER IHR WIDERSPRUCHSRECHT NACH ARTIKEL 21 DS-GVO
Die betroffene Person hat das Recht, aus Gründen, die sich aus ihrer besonderen Situation ergeben, jederzeit gegen die Verarbeitung sie betreffender personenbezogener Daten Widerspruch einzulegen. Der Verantwortliche verarbeitet die personenbezogenen Daten dann nicht mehr, es sei denn, er kann zwingende schutzwürdige Gründe für die Verarbeitung nachweisen, die die Interessen, Rechte und Freiheiten der betroffenen Person überwiegen, oder die Verarbeitung dient der Geltendmachung, Ausübung oder Verteidigung von Rechtsansprüchen (Art. 21 DS-GVO).
Bei Vorliegen der Voraussetzungen des Art. 20 DS-GVO steht Ihnen ein Recht auf Datenübertragbarkeit zu.
