Even after 3 years of training, it still feels great.

Content of the training Columns, beams, walls, ceilings, special parts … a wide variety of precast concrete parts are produced in our precast plant in Mindelheim.
The majority of these are then assembled on our construction sites.
To ensure that all parts fit together exactly, it is particularly important to manufacture the parts in the factory exactly according to plan, because every centimeter counts later on the construction site.
The quality standards for the quality and composition of the concrete are also high.
A bridge girder, for example, will later be exposed to high loads and must last reliably for many decades.
For you, this means you have to work precisely and keep an eye on all components.
We will teach you how to do this step by step in a 3-year apprenticeship.
In order to be able to produce a precast concrete part, you will first learn to read the construction plan and build a precisely fitting formwork according to the specifications given there.
Once the formwork has been constructed, the steel – called reinforcement – is anchored in the formwork.
It ensures that the concrete does not simply break apart later.
This is followed by pouring the concrete, curing, stripping the formwork and finally reworking and quality control.
The exact composition of the concrete depends on the requirements of the finished part.
Our concrete mixing tower with its own quality laboratory is responsible for this.
You will also pass by here during your training.
Last but not least, you will visit a construction site.
There you will see how the prefabricated parts you produce fit together precisely like Lego blocks. Duration and process After the first year, you will already be able to build formwork, produce precast concrete parts and know the general operating processes off the top of your head.
In the second year, you will go on to produce factory fittings, prestressed concrete beams and prefabricated structures.
In the third year, you will already be quite independent and have your craft fully under control.
For the theoretical background, you will have block lessons at the vocational school throughout the entire time.
