If you feel the same way, then our joint degree course in Civil Engineering / Bricklaying (m/f/d) could be just right for you.
On the combined degree course, you will complete a full bricklaying apprenticeship and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (m/f/d) at the same time.
The theory from the lecture hall and the practice from the construction site are thus perfectly combined.
And because you work hard with us, you will receive a salary from us for the entire duration of your apprenticeship.
During your apprenticeship as a bricklayer (m/f/d), you will be involved in the construction of a building from the laying of the foundation stone to completion.
You will learn your trade from the ground up, which will give you a huge advantage later in your career.
Our challenging construction projects are a particular plus: If you learn how paper mills, residential complexes, bridges or shopping centers are built on site, you will find it much easier to plan and coordinate them later on as a civil engineer.
Your studies will teach you the theoretical background.
From technical mathematics to structural analysis, building materials science and building physics to construction informatics, your curriculum is packed with everything you will need to know as a civil engineer. Duration and procedure Depending on the university, the combined degree course lasts between 4.5 and 5 years.
The structure and course of study vary depending on your university.
At some universities, for example, you start with a pure training year and attend the inter-company school on the side.
In the second year, you also start your degree course (consisting of 7 semesters) so that you are only in the company during the semester break for training.
Other universities focus on parallel training and studies right from the start.
In this case, you will spend one day a week in the lecture hall during your first year of training.
In both models, your apprenticeship is always over at the end of the third year.
From then on, you can take the final apprenticeship examination.
During the study period, you will always work at our company during the semester break.
